Light in August

Light in terms of blogging here! (no, not a review of the work by Faulkner in case you are wondering). Busy month with our son's birthday plus the hot weather hasn't been conducive to long stints in the kitchen. And the simple meals like burgers on the grill don't really seem to warrent blogging (if you are reading this you probably know how to grill a burger w/0 instruction).

But let the photo here of the buffet lunch at Woburn's Ambassador India assure you that despite the lack of posts here I have still been eating well in August! Getting ready to head to the Cape, where again most of the eating will be fairly simple. Though we do have our own version of best chef competition going on there, so there will likely be some food news to report from our vacation. Until then, hoping you too have a chance to enjoy summer's bounty in these final weeks of the season!
